Midnight bluestarted in 1996 by Diane Larkin. We grew from a
group of four to a 9+ piece band playing in the Northport area on Family Nights at the finish line of the
Cow Harbor Race & Celebration at the gazebo in Northport.
We played at many of the restaurants on Main Street, in nooks and crannies and
courtyards in town. The Northport Rotary Club hired us to do 17 years of "Wine in the Courtyard"
events at the Vanderbilt Planetarium and at Oheka Castle. We played at at Coindre Hall in Centerport for the
Junior Welfare League, product launches, fundraisers, private
parties and local Long Island vineyards.
Our Midnight Blue Trio has played at Del Vino Vineyards and at Oheka Castle,
and at fundraisers and private events.
Diane Larkin sings at weddings and is currently recording with the trio and
other venues.
Roseann Moran - Musical performance experience : Ten years in Acoustic rock duo- as guitarist, keyboardist, and lead/backup vocalist, performed at Bars and Cafe’s, including Tiffany’s, the Emporium, and Timepiece, private parties, and College events. Three years as solo keyboardist and vocalist performing at Del Vino Vineyard for church fundraisers. Four years in 5-piece rock band- as keyboardist and vocalist, performing at Bars and Clubs including the Boat House, Lily Flanagan’s, Oakdale Yacht, SaltShack, the Warehouse, private parties, fundraisers and Town events. Three years in acoustic rock trio- as keyboardist and backup/ lead vocalist… Previous recording studio experience.
Mike Larkin - Guitar, Bass, Backround Vocals As a recording engineer in the '80’s, he worked on projects for Atlantic Records, Warner Brothers, Electra Records, and CBS. Session player. For decades Mike has played guitar and bass in many local bands on the island, private events, fundraisers, outdoor festivals, restaurants, and many of the wineries out east. He is currently playing and owner and operator of MPL Technologies, recording and producing music.
